Selfhelp and Resources
If you have ever felt depressed, anxious or pessimistic, you know you can't just “snap out of it.” You may also have found that antidepressants and/or standard psychotherapy are not the full and lasting answer for you.
Here I share some of the tips, inspiration and practical exercises that have helped my own recovery from
"treatment-resistant" depression. These include advice for boosting your self-esteem, building truly supportive relationships, recovering from depression, meditations to explore your spirituality and my own Feldenkrais-like Repatterning Movement exercises which are powerful antidepressants.
You can also find recent articles, facts, book reviews and other resources which will be helpful for the depression sufferer, carer and health professional alike. With a focus on depression and wellness, you will also find information about PTSD and childhood trauma, spirituality, relationships, parenting and more.
PS. Many of these techniques and information are presented in our highly acclaimed selfhelp books and audio-programs. You will also find our health and wellness news a useful resource.
