Should I use the US or Australian shop?
Use our US shop to make payments in $US. In the US shop you can buy audio products, buy books at discount prices (via Amazon), enrol in US courses (via our sponsoring institutions), and order products by email and pay by check. Credit card payments are processed through our US merchant account, but you can also choose to pay via PayPal.
Our Australian shop sells products in $AU. You can buy audio products, buy Australian edition books, enrol in Australian courses, and order products and enrol in Australian courses by email and pay by check. Credit card payments in the Australian shop are processed via our secure Paymate Express form.
International shoppers simply select your preferred currency. Or use the shop that offers the product, course or payment method you require.
Are your online payment methods secure?
Yes. We process orders online via our 128bit secure server. This secure server uses secure sockets to Geotrust and a digital certificate in order to ensure your credit card transaction is 100% protected. Please ensure your browser has successfully connected to the secure server:
Our Australian credit card processor, Paymate, is also among the safest methods of online payment around. They use SSL encryted technology to keep your personal and financial details private and protected.
What are Paymate and PayPal?
PayPal is one of the most widely-used methods of sending and receiving money internationally. You can select PayPal as your payment method in our $US shop. Many people choose to become a PayPal member (it's free to join), in which case PayPal keeps a record of your credit card details and you can then pay anyone who accepts PayPal. It is no longer necessary to register with PayPal. Uplift Program has a verified US merchant account with PayPal.
Paymate is an international payment system for Australian sellers. We use Paymate in our $AU shop to process your credit card details. There is no need to register with Paymate to complete your payment. Paymate charges a small administrative fee to the buyer for processing each payment. Paymate is not related to PayPal and is owned by EBay.
Both PayPal and Paymate are among the safest methods of online payment around. They use SSL encryted technology to keep your personal and financial details private and protected.
Which credit cards can I use?
We accept Visa or Mastercard in our US and Australian shops. Payments via PayPal can be processed using Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express (except the American Express Corporate Card). Sponsoring institutions handling course enrollments in most cases accept major credit cards.
Can I pay offline?
Yes. To pay by check or money order simply select the check or money order payment option at checkout. Your product order and shipping details or course enrollment will be emailed to us. Make your check or money order (Western Union or Australia Post) payable to Uplift Program, and mail to: PO Box 3141, Umina, NSW 2257, Australia. Note that a $20 fee will be charged on bounced or returned checks.
What currencies can I pay in?
Our US and Australian shops process payments in $US and $AU respectively. All other payments will be converted at the exchange rate at the time of purchase and debited from your credit card account in your local currency. See our Currency Converter.
Are there any additional fees when making a purchase?
When you add a book or audio program to our shopping cart a shipping charge will be automatically calculated based on your shipping destination. Australian shoppers and course enrollees will be charged a small administrative fee by Paymate for processing a payment.
Do you charge GST on products and courses sold in Australia?
No. Uplift Program is a business with a registered ABN. However we are not required to charge GST on our products. Paymate charges GST on their payment processing fee for Australian orders.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. For many of our courses we offer discounts when 2 or more people enrol, and a reduced rate for repeat participants. From time to time we have special offers and bulk discounts on other products.

How soon will my products arrive?
We'll post your order as soon as your credit card payment has been approved, or check has been cleared. We use Australia Post (domestic or air mail) for all our deliveries. Allow up to 3 weeks for delivery on international orders. We are not accountable for lost or undeliverable packages posted internationally.
Can I cancel my product order?
Yes, if you cancel within 24 hours of placing your order. Once we have posted the order it can't be cancelled. Unfortunately we cannot offer a return policy on audio products that have been opened. For cancellations contact us:
What is your cancellation policy for course enrollments?
A cancellation fee equal to 25% will be charged if notice is received less than 5 working days prior to the event. No-shows will be billed. If one person of a discounted pair cancels, the other will be charged the full fee. Monies already received will be refunded subject to the cancellation deadline. A direct substitution qualifies for the same discount as the original registrant.
The Uplift Program or the sponsoring institution reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of such cancellation, the registration fee will be reimbursed.

If this happens you may have inadvertantly clicked on add to cart buttons for both our $US and $AU shopping carts when you were browsing our site. Check that you are currently in the shop you prefer (see Should I use the US or Australian shop?). Then continue shopping and add the missing items to your prefered cart. Don't worry about items that were added to the other cart--they will automatically be cleared from our system within 24 hours and will not show up in your final purchase.
